Wooden Hanging Frame/Card

Hello everyone!!

I'm back after a weekend!!.. This weekend I did a lot of crafting!! :) :)

But both me and Tanvi are tied up with a lot of work, hence, are not able to post as frequently as we want!!..

Anyways, have a look at some wooden frames which I made for some of my cousins..They are wood-based hanging frames which are made out of scrapped wood pieces and wooden shavings. Embellishments are added in the form of quilled flowers and leaves. I also added matching handmade paper in between the frame so that it could be personalized and used for writing a message!!.. Sparkle on the frames gives it the bling effect!! The hanging is made out of jute rope (but it is not visible in the pictures).

I made a total of 9 frames and each one was different from the other one as all the frames had different types and colors of quilled  flowers!!  This frame can be used for all occasions!! They can also be used as an alternative to regular paper cards!!

Love Is...All About You And Me

Hey Hi Everyone!!

Tanvi has been super busy with her exams and assignments these days..But that does not stop her from being the little sister who constantly keeps you on your toes (in terms of craft). So, she has asked me to update the blog with new crafts in her absence.. (Yes Boss!! ;) . As per her orders, I made this little multi-fold card which is all about 'Love Is'..I am really a big fan of the 'Love Is' series and every time you read them you fall in love with them all over again!!

For this card, I have used red handmade paper sheet because red is the color of love. Red flowers are used to continue with the love theme. I'm really fond of glitter. So, I added silver sparkling leaves along with golden flowers and golden embossed lettering to make it look bright!! Orange felt at the back of the wordings just adds a little extra color required to make it legible and visible.

FRAMED.....

Hey Folks,

After a long long time, I got a free weekend where I had the entire day dedicated to my love 'crafting'. So, I made this photo frame for a friends' friend who recently underwent a surgery. This handmade paper frame was sought of a replacement for the usual get well soon bouquet. (Its really a great way to show somebody that you really really care for them because it will stay with them forever unlike flowers which will perish in sometime). So, I made it floral. Orange flowers really makes me feel happy and bright. I added the pearls as well as curvy stickers so as to give it a classy look. I then took a printout of the get well soon message and put it in place of the picture. The message can be replaced with a picture as well. The frame can also be used for gifting on any other occasion!!

Season Of Love

Hello everyone!!

Recently a lot of my friends and cousins have either got engaged or are on their way to getting married!!

So, this card is dedicated to all those lovey dovey couples..I love you all..

This is a parchment card wherein all the images are hand-drawn and then cut using all-pin and not scissors (It's really difficult and requires a lot of patience). The all-pin cut images may look a little rough on the edges but that's what I like about it. Also the images have been colored using Faber Castlell and Staedtler pencil colors. Coloring by pencil colors has given it an embossed look. I have also added some glitter to the parchment images. I have used my favorite colors pink and red to give this card a romantic look!!.

Love Birds!!

Hey Folks!!

I have been very very busy with assignments and assignments and more assignments. Just slept for 7 hours in 3 days last week.. But, howsoever busy i am crafting is always on my mind. So, here I made this card using the brightest of colors. The flowers are paper punched but the birds, tree and the grass are free- hand cut using scissors. Hope you like it!!
